Bryce Blanco and Leman Detchman founded Tipsier.

The idea for Tipsier originated with Leman while at a pool party after a simple observation: there was no true middle ground between traditional alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic alternatives.

As a lightweight drinker, she enjoyed the social aspects of drinking but often found that even one or two standard drinks could leave her feeling more intoxicated than she wanted. She wanted a way to participate in social events, relax, and have fun without losing control of the experience.

That insight led to the question that became the foundation of the company:

What if there was a drink with just a little alcohol—enough to feel included, relaxed, and social, but not enough to get drunk?

From that idea, the Tipsier concept was born.

After hearing the concept, Bryce recognized its broader business potential. Drawing on his experience around music festivals, nightlife, hospitality, live events, and social entertainment, he saw that the need extended far beyond a single consumer experience.

Many people attending pool parties, festivals, concerts, bars, campgrounds, and social gatherings want a lighter drinking option that fits longer events and more balanced lifestyles.

Together, Leman and Bryce began developing Tipsier into a business, combining the original product vision with market strategy and brand development. Together, they recognized a clear gap between non-alcoholic alternatives and traditional 4%–8%+ alcoholic beverages.

Tipsier was designed to fill that middle ground.

Its mission is simple:

Give people a way to enjoy the social ritual of drinking while staying present, in control, and connected to the experience.

Catch a buzz. Stay present. Remember the night.
